Memory thesis
Memory is not recorded in text, databases, or any external store and then indexed, compressed, or enumerated back into an intelligent system. Data becomes memory only when it is written into the model as parameters. Memory is the model's parameters.
Learning thesis
Real learning is not the ability to understand and memorize a face. It is the ability to perceive, understand, and remember. A true intelligence learns only when it can observe the world, act inside it, and retain every action and every feedback as memory.
